We launched Tutor Central in 2021 with the aim of working in partnership with schools to make math tutoring accessible to children with the greatest needs. We are a team of teachers, curriculum and product designers, social entrepreneurs and tutors. Our head office is in SYDNEY but we operate in Australia, India, Sri Lanka and Philippines. What unites us all is the common mission to close the achievement gap in mathematics.
Mathematics is a powerful tool for global understadning and communication that organizes our lives and prevent chaos. Mathematics helps us understand the world and provides an effective way of building mental discipine. Math encourages logical reasoning, critical thinking, creative thinking, abstract or spatial thinking,problem-solving ability, and even effective communication skills.
